Helping Kim find Stability

A few years ago, I was working in an entry-level position and caring for my three children. When I learned I was pregnant, I was overwhelmed, as I wasn’t sure having another baby was something I could do physically or financially. However, I knew in my heart that parenting my child was the best option for me. I called LFCS and was connected to some of the most amazing, caring, and helpful people.

My contact was Evelyn. She was my angel in one of the most difficult times in my life. I am so blessed to have met her. She was very attentive, encouraging, and compassionate. She was always there for me,
providing information to help me get in a better situation, believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and cheering me on for every tiny accomplishment.

Through the services I received, I was able to turn my life around for the better. Since my initial contact with LFCS, I have graduated from college, become a homeowner, acquired a management position, all while raising my five amazing children.

After receiving services, Kim organized a fundraiser at her job to help give back to LFCS. She raised over $1,400 in support of services for Missouri children and families! We are so amazed at her accomplishments, and are so grateful for her support!
