Life is stressful at times. All of us have a certain amount of it each day and typically cope with it well. There are times, however, when stress becomes overwhelming and the solutions we usually turn to don't seem to work.
For over 135 years, Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri has provided the kind of care that enables people to experience the wholeness of life God intends, by working to facilitate the healing process with services that are sensitive to spiritual, as well as the emotional and psychological needs of clients. With 13 offices in the St. Louis metropolitan area, five in Lutheran congregations, over 80 Lutheran parishes referred clients to the agency last year for individual, marriage or family counseling. Referrals come from a variety of sources all over the community, including schools, doctors, courts, former clients, and managed care companies.
Professional therapists with credentials in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, and psychiatry are experienced in individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
