We promise to find stable, safe housing for families in need.
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Matthew 25:35
Over the summer, a woman in the LFCS Home Visitation program needed a new place to live with her three young children. She struggled to find an affordable, safe place that could accommodate her family, which forced her to move around often. The family lived in multiple shelters and a one-bed hotel room within a short period of time.
With the help of LFCS, the woman finally received a housing voucher from the state. A social worker helped her locate an eligible home in a safe area, and they were able to move in quickly. The family is so excited to have a safe and comfortable place to call home.
