Our Faithful Promises –

We promise teenage mothers that we’re always there to help in crisis.

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Being a new mom is hard, and it’s even harder when you’re a single teenage mom.

When the stay-at-home orders began in March, a young mom in Franklin County was unable to find formula for her 2-week-old son. Her transportation was limited, she had no one to watch her baby, and the stores she called to locate the item were out of stock due to panic buying in her community.

Discouraged and afraid, she shared her situation with our Franklin County team, and after several calls, we were able to find the formula in a neighboring town. A counselor drove to pick it up and delivered it to her. She was so grateful to have food for her newborn.

Baby and mom remain healthy, and she can count on LFCS in times of crisis.
