Grab some friends and dress up and get down for LFCS! Join us on Friday, May 5th for Derby de Mayo at the Jackson Civic Center! This exciting evening will begin as you walk the red carpet. Our guests will enjoy a catered meal of mouth-watering, award winning barbeque by 2 Sides Grillin’. Then get ready to dance the night away with entertainment provided by Perryville’s own American band, the Tungsten Groove.
Sip on Sangrias, Mimosas, Margaritas or Mint Juleps while you place your bets for the winning horse in the Run for the Roses horse race. The night will be filled with excitement as you and your friends enjoy mugging for the camera in our complementary photo booth and bid on your favorite items in the silent auction. Join in on the fun of our Wings & Thighs Contest, our version of Heads or Tails; and be sure to purchase a bottomless keg cup to enjoy all night from our watering trough.
Competition is sure to be in the air as our guests vie for great prizes in the Best Dressed Man, Woman, and Couple contests. And no Derby party would be complete without the famous Best Hat competition! All proceeds will benefit LFCS and this is one event you don’t want to miss! Feliz Derby Day y’all!
