Providing Services in Mid-Missouri

The Mid-Missouri office covers 53 counties in Missouri. Our staff cover all of the Northeast and Northwest part of Missouri, Kansas City, Columbia, Jefferson City, and all surrounding areas.   We are here to serve you!  Our region has the following main programs:

Birth Parent Counseling/WINGS (Women In Need Growing Stronger)/Resource Parent Program
~Free counseling services to pregnant and parenting families.
~Comprehensive pregnancy counseling to women and teens experiencing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy.  Services are also available to family members.
~Assistance with community resources that facilitate healthy parenting (medical care, day care, food, housing, utilities, etc.)
~Support to complete educational goals
~Assistance securing employment and job training.
~Connecting clients with community mentors.
~Parenting education and support groups.

Adoption Services
~Domestic infant placement and special needs placement.
~Post placement counseling and supervision.
~Home studies for international, independent and relative adoptions.
~Home studies for custody and guardianship placements.

Foster Care
~Emergency foster care for children up to age 5 needing a stable, secure environment during a crisis.
~Temporary foster care for parents needing time to make a permanent plan for a child.
~Temporary foster care for children awaiting adoption.
