St. Louis Areas MARCs

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services is partnering with Catholic Charities of St. Louis, the American Red Cross and other local disaster assistance organizations to open a “one-stop shop” for survivors of the floods in Franklin, Jefferson, St. Louis Counties and the City of St. Louis. Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARCs) will open across the region to support people in need of assistance. A MARC is a central location for local and state agencies as well as human service organizations to answer your questions and provide information and disaster related assistance. Upcoming MARCs:

Franklin County
Tuesday, January 12 from 9 AM – 4 PM
Pacific Eagles Hall
707 West Congress Street
Pacific, MO 63069

St. Louis County
Thursday, January 14 from 10 AM – 6 PM   and   Friday, January 15 from 11 AM – 7 PM
Manchester United Methodist Church
129 Woods Mill Road
Manchester, MO 63011

Trained English and Spanish speaking caseworkers will be available at the Jefferson County MARC to assist with creating personal recovery plans, navigating paperwork, and locating assistance for their specific disaster-caused needs along with assistance for groceries, rent medicine and other items or services. Representatives from state agencies, nonprofit, and religiously-affiliated disaster relief organizations will also be on hand at the MARC to assist flood survivors.

There will also be agencies present to help with long-term recovery assistance like relocation and other services including muck-out and debris removal services, behavioral health services, tetanus shots, access to free pet food and much more. Individuals and families can meet with agencies for referrals or other long term recovery services if a family is not eligible for government assistance or if that assistance is inadequate to meet your needs.

Individuals and families applying for assistance are required to bring identification showing address and proof of residence to be eligible for assistance.
