Older Adult Services

Older Adult Services are unique to the Southeast Region and include:

  • Home or Office-Based Counseling for individuals 60 years and older
  • Memory Loss Groups (weekly, four-hour sessions Mondays starting at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays starting at 10 a.m.) for individuals experiencing memory loss due to Alzheimer’s or dementia
  • Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support (2nd Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the LFCS office in Cape Girardeau or 1st Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran in Frohna)
  • Project REACH (Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer’s Caregiver Health) with tailored services for individual caregivers delivered over a 6-month period (9 home visits and 3 telephone sessions)
