Year Round Projects
We invite you and your church, family, school, social or community group to help LFCS "grow hope" in the lives of family and children. The following activities don't require much time, yet make a world of difference.
Baby Bottle Boomerang Fund Drive
Collect loose change, bills and even checks in baby bottles provided by LFCS. Click here to volunteer
Baby Shower
Sponsor a Baby Shower and collect items to donate to babies served through LFCS programs. LFCS is registered at Target, Wal-Mart, and Babies R Us. Click here to volunteer
Foster Children Memory Packs
Collect items for LFCS foster children who are in foster homes and may be living apart from their siblings. Items may include gift cards to entertainment venues (movie theatre, Chuck E Cheese, or the Magic House) for sibling visits or disposable cameras and photo albums to capture special memories. Special Events
Organize a group to volunteer at an LFCS special event such as the Annual Family Walk, the Golf Tournament, or the Auction. Volunteers are always needed to help with set up, registration, break down and various related tasks. Click here to volunteer
Volunteer at the LFCS Office
Spend time with friendly LFCS staff while working for a great cause. Volunteers help with mailings, stuffing bags, filing, computer data entry, and phone work. Click here to volunteer
Food Pantry Packages
Donate food to help stock the LFCS Food Pantry, which serves families and pregnant women in need. Click here to volunteer
Diaper Drive
Sponsor a Diaper Drive and collect items to donate to babies served through LFCS programs. LFCS clients are often in need of all sizes of diapers as well as wipes for their babies and young children. Click here to volunteer

Career Mentor for a Day
Empower youth participating in our youth development program. Speak to a group of youth about your profession, as well as the challenges and successes you have encountered throughout your career. Opportunities varies by area. Click here to volunteer
Women's Care Packages
Collect items for LFCS clients who have delivered a baby. Items may include toiletries, slipper socks, and sanitary napkins. Click here to volunteer
Ready to Ride
For many of our clients, transportation is their number one hurdle. Donate gas cards or bus passes to help LFCS clients get to pre-natal care appointments, job interviews, children's doctor's appointments, and work. Click here to volunteer
