SERVICES FOR CHILDREN IN ST. LOUIS COUNTY
Our services are prevention and early-intervention focused, promoting healthy family relationships and personal well-being. We listen to the client and utilze evidence-based strategies, delivered by compassionate and professional staff.

Available to: Pregnant and parenting teens (19 and under) and their families.
Services: Professional social workers offer case management, counseling, education and guidance toward achieving a stable, healthy home environment for their children.
Available to: Children (birth-5) whose parents are experiencing a crisis or are in need of parenting assistance.
Services: Professional social workers offer education, case management, counseling and guidance toward achieving a stable, healthy home environment.

Available to: Families in emergency or crisis situations with children, (birth-5) that need full-time, short-term care for their child(ren).
Services: Voluntary, short-term foster care with licensed, caring and loving foster parents who provide care on a temporary basis. While a child is in care, parents work with LFCS social workers to achieve a safe, stable home environment. There is no cost to parents for this service.

- As part of this program, we are seeking families interested in becoming foster families. We will train and support your family as you provide foster care services.
ADOPTION FOCUSED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Available to: Adoptive or foster families and their children (19 and under).
Services: Specialized therapeutic counseling and support offered to children experiencing stress, school problems, and behavior or attachment issues.

Available to: Elementary and Middle-School students in Bayless, Riverview Gardens and Normandy School Districts.
Services: Prevention and early intervention services to youth in St. Louis County via group sessions focused on introducing youth to healthy alternatives to substance abuse, violence, and aggression. Follow-up coaching is also offered for youth needing more intensive services.
INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND GROUP COUNSELING
Available to: Children and youth in St. Louis County (5-19), struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional or behavioral problems.
Services: Therapeutic counseling services that include assessment, individual and family therapy, group therapy and school consultation.
Available to: Students attending Bayless and University City Schools, and Lutheran schools in St. Louis County.
Servics: Early intervention services to reach youth struggling with depression, emotional or behavioral issues, and prevention services that introduce and support healthy alternatives to substance abuse, violence and aggression.
Available to: Children (5-19), in St. Louis County in need of psychiatry assistance.
Services: Child-focused psychiatry.
