Girls Circle Facilitator Training: Promoting Resiliency in Adolescent Girls
LFCS is excited to partner with One Circle Foundation (www.OneCircleFoundation.org) to host the Girls Circle Facilitator Training. This workshop is perfect for service providers, educators, therapists, corrections staff, social workers, mental health workers, and all who support girls' growth and development. This training will be held April 8-9, 2014 from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Brentwood School District Administration Center. Click below for a downloadable flyer:

The Community Services Program serves children and youth facing multiple at risk factors, helping them attain stability and life skills through, innovative community programs and advocates locally and nationally on their behalf. Services are offered through our St. Louis, Southeast and Mid-Missouri offices. Listed below are curriculum based programs and services that are offered through the LFCS' Community Services Program. These programs are FREE to the community.

Bullying Prevention For Teens
The CHOICES Teen Advisory Board recently received a grant from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board for a bullying prevention program. The Board plans to train teenagers in bullying prevention and intervention education. On hand for the check presentation were Congressman Blain Luetkemeyer, R-St. Elizabeth; Tricia Gordon, Program Coordinator; Alan Erdman, LFCS President & CEO; and Jim Camoriano, State Farm Public Affairs .
