Helping Hands Auction
27th Annual Helping Hands Auction - held on September 19th
The Helping Hands Auction is LFCS' largest fundraising event of the year. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 19th at the Marriott Union Station in St. Louis. Our goal is to raise to $300,000 in support of the many statewide programs and services provided by LFCS. LFCS is proud to announce the 2009 Helping Hands Auction Chairs, Tom and Shirley Kopatz. Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Tom and Shirley became involved with LFCS just three years ago when they moved to St. Louis from Minneapolis, MN as Tom became a Managing Partner of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Currently, Shirley volunteers at their church, Holy Cross Lutheran in Collinsville, Illinois, and also donates her time to LFCS' Foundation.
